  • Vicki Hufstetler, of Fairfield, Ohio, recently caught this 6 pound largemouth bass while fishing with a shiner in a pond in Bonita Springs.
  • This 25 inch red grouper was caught last week by Rusty Moore, of Naples, while fishing offshore with Captain Jimbo Hail.
  • Chris Bourgeois of Portland, Maine, caught this redfish while fishing in the Ten Thousand Islands with Captain Bill Miller and Bud Hoffman on February 24, 2012. It was caught on a lure casting from the boat.
  • Tim Piscatelli caught this 26 inch redfish in Blackwater River out of Goodland. He used a skitter-walk for bait.
  • Jim Singer, from Canastota, New York, caught this 26 inch red drum on live shrimp while fishing on a boat dock at lower Big Hickory Bay.
  • Belen landed her first catfish from a deck boat while fishing off of Marco Island.
  • Alex Cabada caught this 19 inch black drum on shrimp in Johnson Bay.
  • Rosemary Clements caught this spotted sea trout on live shrimp.
  • Gerry Pytel, of Marco Island, caught a 6 pound tripletail and a redfish while fishing with Captain Dave Anderson of Goodland on February 28. They were caught off Cape Ramano, using live shrimp. He was fishing with his brother Joe and his friend Kurt from Minnesota.
  • Liam Blesi, 8, caught this 23 inch redfish last week using a live shrimp near Vanderbilt Beach Road with his Grandfather Al Aldi. The redfish was Liam's first ever.
  • The Shevlin/Boyle family caught these fish on March 2nd with Capt. Chris McCubben.
  • Chris Workman, Kevin Weber and Jimmy Stephens with some of their day's catch onboard the Getsnookerd fishing team's Contender.

I am beginning to think there is a problem with people and the fishing regulations!!! Grouper season is closed, I hope the FWC starts looking at these pictures. Other Fish and wildlife agencies in other states check local pictures and have even gotten people busted on Youtube and Facebook. Follow the laws, be a responsible Angler!!!
