A 43-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries Wednesday afternoon after falling from a construction site in Naples.
Around 4 p.m., the man fell an estimated 25 to 30 feet from either a second-floor window or the roof trusses of a home at 900 10th St. S., according to Chief Steve McInerny of Naples Fire and Rescue.
McInerny said the man landed on his back and likely had internal injuries. When first responders arrived, he was having trouble breathing.
The man was flown to Lee Memorial Hospital as a trauma alert. McInerny said he could not give the man's name, citing medical privacy laws.
